I shall expand on my previous post mr Gibb :)
The main character, Georgia, has a group of best mates. Jas, Ellen, Rosie, Jools, and of course, the Ace Gang trainees!! She spends all her time texting, calling and meeting them (when shes not at stalag 14 [otherwise known as school], of cousre..!)
Then ther is Robbie. Georgias dream man!! But does she have a chance with him when her arch enemy Wet Lindsay is also interested?!?!
The whole series is all about Georgia, and her boy dilemas. Robbie? Dave the Laugh? Mamiso?
The characters are really realistic, its easy to believe they are real people (even though they are not). The situations they get into are really FUNNY, without being too over the top..!
I loved the storyline of the series, and by the last book, you feel that you really know Georgia. Its like you're best mates.
The book is set in present time, as in, now. I think the author wrote it so that no place names were mentioned. That way it is easier to imagine Georgia being anyone. Like the girl at the end of your street. I think this is quite clever!!
Also, the first and second books of the series has been made into a movie!! The movie is called 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' (duh) :) Georgia is played by Georgia Groome [former trent college pupil!], and Robbie is played by Aaron Johnson [!]. I really like this series. Its actually the only one that makes me laugh.. OUT LOUD! In a room, on my own. I would jst sit there in HYSTERICS. How sad...
Anyway, i think i will give this series a ....... [drumroll please].......
